Chester 4th of July Fun Run

100% of the proceeds from this race go to the Almanor Recreation and Park District (ARPD), an unfunded local district. All board members are unpaid volunteers. ARPD promotes activities for kids and the community, from events like this to maintaining Almanor Park and adjacent athletic fields for Little League, youth softball and youth soccer. ARPD is also obtaining land and public grant funds to build trails in the Lake Almanor basin.
