Supporting Cultures, People, & Places Around the World

Our RACES support cultures, people, places...and NEEDS we RUN into ...running locally and around the world.

This year's 2024 major projects are making WHEELCHAIR accessibility possible so MISS PAM can RUN her ranch to build confidence and esteem in youth as they learn to ride and care for ranch animals, doing so in a WHEELCHAIR!

AND , to support the Nepalese families and higher elevation SHERPA villages in the Himalayas of NEPAL make it through their MONSOON seasons and get to keep their kids in school and have their medical needs that arise be funded. (This arose out meeting these great families while trekking to EVERET BASECAMP and the RUNNING of the EVEREST MARATHON , the world's highest and hardest marathon.  And , to support the porters and guides in the villages at the base of  Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania ,Africa.  This arose out of running the Mt. Kilimanjaro marathon, as its base.  Then summiting this almost 20,000 foot , non active volcano!

Thank you, running community for healthy spread HOPE and HEALTH.

Your dollars from this race will help us buy exact size trekking shoes and jackets for Sherpa families so their men can continue to 'port' for a living with adequate footwear and protection from the vacillating weather at that elevation.

You can also read these stories and support these causes by reading my book Finding Fit available on Amazon and Audible.
