The Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation (LPEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 to address the historically inconsistent and precarious state of California’s education funding (ranked one of the lowest in the nation) and its prohibitive effects on the success of students and schools in the Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD).
LPEF collaborates with the LUSD to raise additional funding for Pre-K through 12th grade educational and enrichment programs in all 20 schools in the District. Since 2015, we have raised approximately $700,000 to help ensure LUSD students receive the highest-quality public education, with areas of focus in: College Access; Science, Educational Equity, and Health and Wellness. We have directly supported college scholarships, college tours, teacher grants, arts education, STEM programs and COVID-19 relief assistance for Lynwood families.
Our mission is to provide resources that support and enhance educational programs, initiatives and priorities for LUSD students so that all of them may graduate college or become career-ready to achieve their visions of personal and professional success. The LPEF funds vital programs that support all students.
