Dear Registered Participants,
I want to start by saying the health and safety of our community are important to us. After all, we are The Partnership for Safe Families and Communities (The Child Abuse Prevention Council for Ventura County), and I believe now more than ever, our name is taking on a lot of meaning. We strive to live up to our mission to promote a community committed to safe, healthy, peaceful families.
We care about your health and wellness, and that is why based on the most recent public health order issued by Ventura County Department of Public Health, we have decided to postpone our Stronger 5k event scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2020. We will resume our plans to continue this great event in late summer or early fall. We will keep you updated. If for any reason, you are not able to join us for the new set date, we are happy to change your category as a virtual runner, and you can send your time via text or email. If you have further questions, please email jfortega@partnershipforsafefamilies.org or Kvan@partnershipforsafefamilies.org. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this difficult time.

Our 5K event is on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at the oceanfront Oxnard State Park / Mandalay Beach 1601 S. Harbor Blvd. Oxnard, CA 93035. We will be running/walking along the beachside path, noted as one of the top ten beaches in Ventura Count
Your support will make this event a success, and you will be joining hundreds of community members dedicated to keeping children safe.
