I'm thrilled to share that the Plumas Charter School Mountain Valley Parents Club Quincy Site will be hosting a 5k and fun run event on December 2, 2023, to support our afterschool program.
Unfortunately we were unable to secure the necessary funds to run the program at full capacity this year. As a result, over 20 students are presently on the waitlist for the program.
Afterschool programs play a critical role in a child's success. Our program not only provides a secure atmosphere for children after school, but also offers a variety of benefits, including an afterschool snack, homework assistance, educational activities, and access to additional school resources.
Our goal is to raise $10,000, which would enable numerous students to access the afterschool program they need so badly. We appreciate your consideration of our request for assistance. Please do not hesitate to reach out for more information.
