Learn Why We Rise
According to state data, the number of kids aged 10-19 who died by suicide in Colorado more than doubled from 2007 to 2020. Last month, Rise Against Suicide received 46 referrals for youth struggling with suicidal thoughts. With your donation, we can bring this critical conversation to the forefront and provide resources for those in need. With no end in sight for the deepening mental health crisis youth in our community are facing, Rise Against Suicide is steadfast in its commitment to providing funded therapy sessions for youth experiencing suicidal ideation and who are uninsured or underinsured. Our goal for the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 is to serve 400 youth in the geographic areas of the Saint Vrain Valley School District and Boulder Valley School District with 3,200 life-saving therapy sessions.
