At Charis Youth Ranch, the programs we offer are designed to connect kids and young adults from all walks of life with our horses. While such connections may seem simple, they open the door to dynamic personal growth and change. Serving our community since 2009, we operate as an equine rescue and sanctuary, taking in and healing unwanted or injured horses in need of a safe place to land. Each of our herd have a story, and their story often mirrors that of the children and teens who find their way to our barn. Our mission is broken horses healing broken children, and we are grateful and humbled to watch this healing work take place every day. With the support of our community we look forward to continuing our mission and expanding our scope of outreach.
