Mechanical support on the course is provided by volunteers from the Green Chile Bike Bank. This Pueblo 501c3 takes donated bicycles and parts and rebuilds, refurbishes bikes to give them new life with a homeless or low income individual in the community. The original goal was to get each working homeless person some affordable transportation. In just three years they have repurposed over 600 bicycles to help those in need. They can always use cash to support their mission but also accept unused, lonely bikes in your garage.
