Description
A flat and fast 5k with the best finish line food you could hope for! Eat more chicken and come join us on May 4, 2013 for the fourth annual Chick-fil-A @ Larkridge 5k. You can run, jog or walk the 5k course, the little ones among us are encouraged to join in the kids dash as well!
This race once again benefits A Precious Child: A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to making a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and displaced children and families in Colorado by improving their quality of life.

5k T Shirt
Each 5k participant will receive a gender specific, short sleeved Tech Tee (A4 Brand).
Register before 4/20 to guarantee your shirt size is available on race day. Register after 4/20 and you'll still get a shirt, but your specific size may have to be delivered at a slightly later date!
Ladies (and guys), you have the option of selecting a women's cut tee shirt, or unisex sized shirt. The women's shirts are fitted and run a little bit small, so if you're between sizes, you may want to size up for this shirt!
AGE GROUPS and AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top 3 male and females overall in addition to the top 3 in each age group.
Age groups: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and up
CHARITY DONATIONS
Please give generously to A Precious Child. In addition to your donation, all proceeds from this event go directly to A Precious Child.
CONTESTS and TEAMS
Put a group together, and come up with a GRAND name!
We'll have prizes for:
The largest adult team / youth team
The best themed group in both youth and adult
The best name in both youth and adult groups
The fastest group in both youth and adult
COURSE and WATER
This is a looped course, starting and finishing in the Chick-fil-A parking lot.
There will be 1 water station on the course.
DOGS
We love dogs, but the only animal invited to this event is the Chick-fil-A cow. Please leave your pooch at home this time.
PACKET PICK UP
Advanced Packet Pick Up is available from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on May 3, 2013 at Chick-fil-A Larkridge, 16670 Washington Street, Thornton, CO 80023

6:30 AM to 7:30 AM - Packet Pick Up and Same Day Regsitration
6:30 AM - Outdoor Event Expo - visit the vendors and receive raffle tickets for the post race drawing!!
8:00 AM - Kids' Dash
8:10 AM - 5k Race Start (In waves by projected pace, with strollers at the end, just before walkers are released.)
8:45 AM - 5k Awards and Drawings

STROLLERS
Strollers are welcome in this event. We do request that you start near the back of the group.
TIMING
Each 5k participant will be timed using chip timing. Please do not bend your timing chip! Also, please make sure that your race bib is still clearly visible as you cross the start and finish lines. Thank you for your cooperation!
Children in the Kids Dash will not be timed.
