Pioneer Prairie Dog Charity Partners

We are proud to support TWO charities at the Pioneer Prairie Dog event: Gowing Home and My Team Triumph! Read on to find out more about each of these organizations or click below to donate!

Growing Home
They offer a dual-generation program to nurture children, strengthen families, and create community. Growing Home’s wrap-around approach serves the whole family with intensive supports to overcome immediate and long-term obstacles. Early childhood interventions nurture children from birth through age eight with evidence-based programs that help prepare young kids for kindergarten and keep older kids on the path to success. Supportive services strengthen families during times of crisis by offering food, shelter, healthcare, and homeless prevention assistance. Our Blocks of Hope neighborhood initiative is enlisting an entire neighborhood to join forces toward our common goal to create community strength. Growing Home combines high-quality direct service strategies with efforts to advance systems change as we work toward equality of opportunity for all.
My Team Triumph:
We love running. Why? Because it helps us discover our strengths, overcome our weaknesses, and allows us to feel the thrill of triumph! But what if for one day, it was not about us? What if just for one small moment, we put someone else's triumph ahead of our own?

Welcome to MyTEAM TRIUMPH, a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing the experience of endurance events (such as foot races & triathlons) to individuals with disabilities. Our mission is that everyone should be able to experience the satisfaction of finishing the race…regardless if they can run. The Rocky Mountain chapter of MyTeam Triumph is dedicated to providing that experience to individuals who would otherwise never enter a race, experience the energy of packet pick-up, or the thrill of crossing the finish line.

With MyTEAM TRIUMPH disabled participants (we call them “Captains”) get to experience it all! Captains are assisted by a team of able-bodied athletes (called "Angels") to complete the race. Captains & Angels team together to feel the thrill of the start, the joy of the race, the satisfaction of crossing the finish line, and the elation of the award ceremony.

By donating money to this charity, your contact info with be shared with that charity for taxes purposes and future solicitations.
