We are a family/volunteer run 501(c)(3) that raises money for research for children who have Lebers Congenital Amaurosis (LCA) RDH12. This causes blindness in children. Our organization started in 2010, and since then we have raised almost 2 million dollars for research.
Our organization helps any child that has been given the RDH12 diagnosis. The range of children who are part of our group at this time range from ages birth to adult, and are all around the country. The cure will be available to all of these children – no one will be turned away. Our foundation will cover all costs of the research, travel, hospitalizations, and any other expenses that will arise for any of our families who wish to cure their child.
We receive our primary funding from family, friends, strangers, and companies.
We cannot cure these children without our fundraisers and money from our generous sponsors.
