Front Street Dash

On May 20, 2017, the New Haven Road Runners will host the Front Street Dash, a flat, out and back, one mile run  (USATF Certified) along the Quinipiac River.  The $ 15 entry fee includes chip timing, a dancing lobster t shirt, a live drum circle during the race,  post race beer, soda and pizza for all entrants (courtesy of Grand Apizza and No Worries Brewery), and live music and dancing of the Quinnipiac Riverfest.  Overall winners of male and female divisions will receive $ 100 gift certificates to the Bull & Swine and Oak Haven Table & Bar.  Age group winners will receive $20 gift certificates to the Woodbridge Running Company.  Second and third place finishers of all age groups will receive a basket of Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies.  The race will have three waves:  women, men, and walkers/kids.  Proceeds from the run will go to the Friends Center for Children, New Haven CT.    Rain date is May 21, to be announced on May 19 in case of inclement weather.   Note:  t shirts guaranteed for pre registration before 5/10/17.  Limited t shirts available on first come, first serve basis on race day for those registered after 5/10/17.
