Donation Goal: $10,000

Did you know that the Turkey Trot is the Club's largest annual fundraiser?  At the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield, we believe in equal access and opportunities for everyone.  Every child that walks through our doors is provided with a safe environment, where they are included and accepted by their peers, where they are welcomed and encouraged to be their best selves, and where they can grow into the young leaders we know they are meant to be – regardless of the circumstances surrounding them. And most importantly, every program and service we offer is always available to everyone, regardless of their family’s income or financial resources.

Our top priority has always been to help those that need us the most and our mission is to never turn away a child because of their family’s inability to pay. The proceeds from the Turkey Trot will help to meet the heightened demand for the Club and the services we provide. Since 2019, we have provided over $500,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to ensure that all children, especially those that need us the most, have full access to the Club and our award-winning programs.

Any gift you make will directly benefit our BGCR Family Relief Fund to help eliminate outstanding balances and provide immediate services for the most vulnerable children in our town. Children in crisis, without family guidance, with disrupted home lives, in foster care, and suffering economic hardship.

Together, with your support, we can ensure their needs are met.  Because of you, GREAT FUTURES START HERE!

In October, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield launched our COVID-19 Relief Fundraiser, the Whatever It Takes to Build Great Futures Campaign.  For more than 84 years, through wars, tragedies, and economic crises, the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield has been a constant in the lives of children and families in our community. We are all facing challenges unlike anything previously encountered. In this critical time, we remain committed to supporting the kids and families who rely on our services.

When COVID-19 hit, we rose to the occasion to help those that needed us the most. But now, we need help in ensuring we can continue to be a pillar in the Ridgefield community for many years to come.  We know that the Club is essential to Ridgefield. Our families need us more than ever.  But, we need help. We can’t do it alone.

To learn more about this fundraising effort, or to donate directly to our Whatever It Takes to Build Great Futures fundraising campaign, please visit our website, www.bgcridgefield.org.  Our doors lead to great futures, and with your support and generosity, we can keep them open and can continue to be a part of this community for many years to come.
