Description
The race to Election Day is on - and crossing the finish line successfully takes a team.
In working with campaigns across America, two things are clear: 1) nurturing our well-being is needed now more than ever amid the cascade of existential challenges; and 2) connecting authentically will fuel us to the ballot box and beyond.
In response, we are launching the first-ever Virtual Courage to Run 50.1 Mile Team Challenge and Virtual Courage to Run 50.1 Mile Challenge to pace you with motivation, inspiration and celebration to Election Day. Through November 3, run solo or form a team of 2 to 5, and run 50.1 miles. (You get it: 50% plus 1 = electoral victory.)
Registration includes: customizable bib, the ultimate race medal, finisher's certificate, motivations and a charitable donation.
Net proceeds benefit 30 diverse organizations that train and champion the next wave of healthy civic leaders that Courage to Run supports. These organizations include, though are not limited to -- IGNITE National, Vote Run Lead, Brown Girls Guide to Politics, Latinas Represent, Vote Mama Foundation, Victory Institute and the Millennial Action Project. They are on the frontlines reimagining leadership training amid the pandemic and need our support.
