THE FOURTH STREET PRESERVE
This property encompasses 30 acres on either side of 4th Street extended in Lewes. Heavily forested, this tract is an attractive gateway to Lewes from New Road, an important habitat for our remaining wildlife and native species, and a significant contributor to air quality and carbon reduction. Fourth Street also plays a large role in water recharge and management, helping to protect against flooding.
