The Millsboro Fire Company is a non-profit organization that is funded at the State and County levels, but relies heavily on fundraising events and donations from the residents it serves. The cost to purchase and maintain the apparatus, outfit volunteers with specialized firefighting gear and equipment and to keep its membership trained to proper levels continues to rise.
