RR5K Ball Drop
It is time to again help support one of Newark’s amazing charity organizations – Newark Area Welfare Committee. NAWC helps many, many of our local area residents in need, and they need our support. The Newark Morning Rotary Club is again generously hosting the Rock and Roll 5k on Saturday November 5th at the Newark Country Club so please join to run or watch and enjoy an awesome day filled with some great music (and support a very important local organization)!
If you can’t be at the event, please consider buying golf balls for our 2nd Annual Golf Ball Drop! We will have over $1,000 worth of AMAZING prizes for the lucky winners and everything raised will go directly to Newark Area Welfare Committee!! We'll drop numbered balls onto the putting green, and the four closest balls to the hole will win the following great prizes:
· 1st prize: $500 CASH!!
· 2nd prize: round of golf for 4 at Newark Country Club
· 3rd prize: $250 CASH!!
· 4th prize: dinner for 2 at Newark Country Club

Description
We threw a party, and a 5K broke out! Our Rock & Roll 5K features classic rock music, a kid's fun run, a chance to visit the beautiful Newark Country Club, and of course a 5K (run or walk). Hang around after the 5K for great music by Club Phred (www.clubphred.com) and family fun.
This event raises money for a great local cause; Newark Area Welfare Committee who helps Newark area families in crisis regain balance by providing them the necessities of life. www.newarkareawelfare.org
