Teams and individuals in the First State Duathlon are encouraged to raise money for their favorite cause through the Summer Delaware Charity Challenge Race to Raise fundraising competition. The default charity is Combined Campaign for Justice, but you can raise for whoever you want. You can change the nonprofit beneficiary through the edit fundraiser tab once you are on your Crowdrise page after you register here on RunSignUp. To set up the fundraising page, check the "I want to set up a Crowdrise fundraiser" button below, and either join one of the existing fundraising teams or select the "(New Fundraiser Team)" option and create your own (e.g., TEAM NAME or TEAM NAME FOR NONPROFIT). Note: For those setting up new teams, the team name you type here is what your team URL will be on Crowdrise, so we suggest keeping it relatively short and changing your team name on Crowdrise once you are on their website. You can also set a fundraiser goal below or leave it blank. Goals are fun, and we encourage you to set one (and make it one that is realistic for you (or your team) to meet).
If you are registering more than one person at once, we do not recommend setting up a fundraising page for your teammates because they need to separately create or log into their accounts on Crowdrise. Instead you can direct them to your team fundraising page on Crowdrise after it's created and they can join/create their own page from there.
IMPORTANT: After you have registered, the screen will display your registration. You need to click the "Setup Fundraiser" button to go to Crowdrise and complete the registration process. You'll have to log into (or create) your Crowdrise account at this step. Once in Crowdrise, you can edit your fundraising page through the edit fundraiser tab.
You can donate to a fundraiser below by clicking on the fundraiser below. This will take you to the CrowdRise website. You can also create your own fundraiser by clicking "Create New Fundraiser" below.
