Saddle up for Miggy's Gift 8th Annual Melanoma Walk

Our Mission Statement:

1) At Miggy's Gift we aim to save lives by educating children and young adults on sun safety, skin cancer prevention, and the importance of early detection.  We visit  colleges, schools, after school programs, summer camps, and health fairs with Dermatology health professionals, who share an age appropriate power point presentation  with  the kids.  Through this initiative we donate shirts with UPF protection, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, sunscreen dispensers, sunglasses, and lip balm.

2)  We provide financial and emotional support to families with a child or young adult going through cancer. This includes granting wishes, donating custom gift baskets for patients, donating gift cards to help the family with expenses,  in addition to visiting oncology pediatric units in local hospitals with arts and craft parties or magic shows.

3)  In 2018 we established the Stephen "Miggy" Scholarship grant at Miami Dade College for students attending the MDC Miami Animation Gaming International Complex (MAGIC).  To date, we have granted 12 scholarships totaling $33,000. in scholarship funds.
