Your donation can help train the next Nordic Walking instructor.
The NORDIC WALKING ASSOCIATION OF NORTH AMERICA NWANA Instructor Growth Fund turns donations, fundraising, team fundraising, sponsorship, and eligible employer matching gifts into NWANA Academy Beginner Instructor Course Credits.
Every $300 raised can create one course credit.
Fundraisers can use earned credits to take the instructor course themselves, train a leader for their team, support a local club, help a corporate wellness group, or sponsor instructors for schools, universities, senior centers, rehabilitation programs, hospitals, walking groups, and community organizations.
Your employer may double your impact .
Many companies match charitable gifts made by their employees. If your employer offers a matching gift program, your donation may help create additional course credits and train more Nordic Walking leaders.
Course credits may also be donated to the NWANA Instructor Candidate Waitlist , helping future instructors who are ready to serve their communities but need support getting started.
Nordic Walking is a sport, a fitness method, a powerful community activity, and a valuable tool for health, balance, mobility, active aging, fall prevention, and rehabilitation support. But to grow it the right way, communities need trained instructors and local leaders.
Your donation is not just a gift. It is a step toward more instructors, more clubs, more walking groups, healthier communities, and a stronger foundation for competitive Nordic Walking in North America.
Course credits are earned and assigned under the NWANA Fundraising Course Credit Policy , available in the website menu.
