Help Support Southwest Florida Residents Challenged by Epilepsy

Epilepsy is the nation's fourth most complex neurological disorder after migraine, stroke and Alzheimer's disease according to a recent report from the Center for Disease Control. Epilepsy is a complex spectrum of disorders that affects millions of people in a variety of ways and is characterized by unpredictable seizures that differ in type, cause and severity. Living with epilepsy is much more than just seizures. The disorder is often defined in practical terms such as challenges in school, uncertainties about social situations and employment, limitations on driving and questions about independent living.

Our objective ultimately is the prevention and control of epilepsy and assisting those challenged by epilepsy, along with the families and caregivers, in overcoming the problems associated with disorder. We help our patients work toward independence and self-sufficiency so that they may achieve their maximum potential.

Your investment in our program can help reduce seizures, reduce visits to hospital emergency rooms and drastically improve quality of life for those challenged by epilepsy.
