The mission of the Thunder Athletic Club (TAC) is to foster a positive environment for all ODA student-athletes, coaches, and parents. TAC partners with the athletics department to enhance the overall athletic experience by encouraging school spirit, increasing attendance at events, and supporting the needs of athletic programs.
Recent Investments by the Thunder Athletic Club
Through the generous support of our members, the Thunder Athletic Club has proudly funded a variety of initiatives that enhance the student-athlete experience and strengthen ODA’s athletic programs. Recent contributions include:
- Enhanced Branding in the Thunderdome and Thunder Stadium
- Lease of a Field Marking Robot to improve field preparation and maintenance
- State Championship Gear for teams earning a state title
- Strength & Conditioning Software to support training and performance tracking
- Upgraded Weight Room Equipment
- HUDL Access and Equipment to advance film review and game analysis
- Coach Wish List Fulfillment, including football headsets and track & field equipment (hurdles, timing mat)
- Collaborative Support with the Parent Association and Arts Alliance for school-wide initiatives, such as Senior Sweatshirts, Educator Appreciation events, and Trunk-or-Treat
