2017 Mutt Strut: Walk, Wag, and Run

This is the second annual Mutt Strut: Walk, Wag, and Run.  Taking place at Edwards Road Park in Starke, FL, this year's event will feature a 5k race, 1 mile fun run/walk, doggie expo, and other fun, dog friendly activities. Registration by June 20th will guarantee an event tee-shirt and participant baggie. For participants registering after June 20th and on-sight, shirts will be available for purchase as supplies last.   

Walkers, runners, cheerleaders, and anyone else interested in a fun evening supporting some great animal rescue groups. All dogs are welcome; they must be leashed at all times and owners must provide a current rabies vaccination certificate.

This fun and friendly event helps support programs such as the UCI ROCK Hounds and the RMC Paw Camp that provide a re-entry program for inmates as they train former shelter dogs in basic obedience. The K-9s leave the programs sterilized, fully vaccinated, up to date on parasite preventatives, micro chipped, crate trained, and ready to find their forever homes! 

Proceeds from the Mutt Strut event help meet food, veterinary, and training needs for dogs in these programs as well as SHARE (shepherd help and rescue effort).
