Description
As International Justice Mission (IJM) and Public Interest Law Students Association (PILSA) on Florida State University's campus, we are partnering with The Big Bend Coalition Against Human Trafficking (BBCAHT) and hosting a 5K race in which the proceeds will benefit The Survive and Thrive Advocacy Center (STAC), the area’s local anti-trafficking victim
assistance and community awareness program, and The Porch Light, a Florida-certified safe house for female teenage survivors of sex trafficking. This 5K run will help raise awareness about human trafficking in our area.
The cost per ticket is $25 which includes a long sleeve t-shirt.
As FSU's chapter of IJM, we not only want to make a difference internationally with our advocacy and efforts for human rights, but we want to promote change and healing domestically. That is why ALL proceeds will go to this in-state nonprofit.
Please join us as we walk/run to support this organization that is so valuable and so needed. You CAN make a difference in these girls' lives.
T-Shirts will be guaranteed to each participant if they are signed up by 01/06/2018.
