Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary Ribbit Run

Our family-focused Burks Elementary Ribbit Run, and after-school Tree Frog Run Club is relying on our surrounding community to make this year's event a success.

Your generous donations for this year’s event will help to underwrite all Tree Frog Run Club 5K entries as well as offset Ribbit Run costs. Run Club is open to all interested Johnnie Lay Burks Elementary students, volunteer powered and is free of cost.

Students train for two months with the end goal of completing the 5K Race or 1K Fun Run. In addition to running, Run Club also discusses goal setting, positive self-talk, and personal mantras.
