Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk

Donation Goal: $42,184

According to the latest data available, 42,184 incidents of family violence, including domestic violence, were reported in Georgia in 2024.

In recognition of this staggering statistic, our fundraiser goal is $42,184—one dollar for every reported incident.

Each number represents an individual, family, or household impacted by violence and in need of safety, support, and hope.

Your donation will help:

  • Provide emergency housing and transportation for survivors fleeing violence
  • Connect survivors with legal advocacy and access to Temporary Protective Orders
  • Supply essential needs such as food, clothing, and hygiene kits
  • Empower survivors and their families on their journey toward healing and safety

Through the Lacing Up Against Domestic Violence 5K Run & Walk, we aim to raise awareness and provide critical services that allow survivors and families to heal. Even if you cannot participate in the race, you can still make a difference today.

If you would prefer to make your donation offline (check, cash, or other arrangements), please email info@atlantaga.gov for additional information and donation instructions.
