Introduction
MyTeam Triumph - Wings of Columbus, Georiga (MTT-WOCG) is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Big Dog Running Company for the Big Dog Jingle 5K race on December 17th, 2016 at 9:00AM to provide our Captains, Angels, and Volunteers the opportunity to experience Christmas-inspired road racing in UpTown Columbus.  To be a part of MTT-WOCG at this race, please continue to register here.  

Registraion Basics
Captains, Angels, and Volunteers - DO NOT REGISTER through the official race website for this race.  You will only register here, through RunSignUp.  MyTeam Triumph and Big Dog Running Company will be sponsoring your entries into the race. You will not be required to pay any fees to participate in this race. 

Captain Registration (Individuals with physical-limitations that will be pushed in the event)
Captains' entry fees are sponsored by MyTeam Triumph - WOCG. Captains will NEVER pay to race with MTT-WOCG.  The only registration form you will be required to complete is the MyTeam Triumph - Captain Registration here, on RunSignUp.  MTT Staff will take care of the rest.  All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the ride.  

Angel Registration (Able-bodied runners that will push the Captain in the event)
For this event, the only registration form you will be required to complete is the MyTeam Triumph - Angel Registration here, on RunSignUp.  DO NOT REGISTER through the official race website.  You are not required to pay any fees to participate in this race as an Angel.  

With that being said, we are (politely) asking all Angels to fundraise prior to this race. We will be providing you with a Crowdrise account link that we hope you will send out to all your friends and family members to help MTT-WOCG in our pursuit to purchase specialized ADA-approved racing wheelchairs for our Captains. 

Volunteers Registration (individuals that desire to assist staff during race day)
Your role during this event is to be stationed throughout the race course and be the point of contact for our teams during the race.  As each team passes by, you will ask if they are experiencing any issues, and you will relay this information to MTT Staff using the phone number provided to you on race morning.  You will also take pictures of the teams as they pass by.  All images should be sent to phone number provided to you on race morning.  These images will be posted on the MTT-WOCG Facebook page.  You will assist with table set-up before the event and area clean-up after the event.  To be a Volunteer for MTT-WOCG, continue to register here.  Your participation is free of charge, and this is the only registration you are required to complete.  

Meet-and-Greet
There will be a Meet-and-Greet the evening before this race.  You will receive details via email providing more information about this dinner designed to facilitate comradery between Captains, Angels, Volunteers, and MTT Staff.  We strongly encourage your attendence to this important event.  

Before the Race
On race morning, we ask that all MyTeam Triumph Captains, Angels, and Volunteers arrive promptly at 7:00 AM. Meet at the MyTeam Triumph set-up area near the starting line. You will check in with MyTeam Triumph to obtain your T-shirt, race packet and bib, and MTT Team Assignment.  (If you already have an MTT T-shirt, be sure to wear it!!)

Teams of Captains and Angels will que up at 8:30AM at the race starting line, in front of all other runners.  At 9:00AM, the race will begin, and all Captains and Angels will start the race before the other runners with a 3 minute headstart.  All teams will stay along the right side of the race course in single file, allowing other runners to pass on your left.  

During the Race
During the race, we ask that all Angels stay with their Captain, and we ask that each team of Angels will allow their Captain to cross the finish line before them.  This is not a time to achieve your personal best on a run.  This is a time to keep the Captain's safe and ensure that their experience is first-class.  

After the Race
After the race, we will have an Awards Ceremony and a T-shirt signing for our Captains and Angels.  Please meet at the MyTeam Triumph set-up area once you have completed the race.
