We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a 5K and 1 Mile Run to support
our band students at Starr’s Mill High School for the fourth year. Starr’s Mill High School
band is an award winning program. During our competition season of 2022-23, our
marching band swept “The Gathering Competition.” We have had students march with
the Macy’s All American Marching Band in the Thanksgiving Day parade for the past 11
years. Several band members also participated in the “Capital One College Bowl.” We
have alumni marching in great bands such as UGA, Auburn, GA Tech, and Jacksonville
State University, as well as many more. Our program is not just about music and
marching. Students who are a part of the band programs at Starr’s Mill learn
leadership, dedication, and discipline. Our band program is top notch and we need your
support to continue the long tradition of providing a strong band program at Starr’s Mill
High School.
