Run Around the Blauch 5k/1 mile

Cindy Blauch, the secretary at Lee County High School 9th Grade Campus, is in the middle of a battle with cancer. Currently, she is going through treatment consisting of surgery and radiation therapy.  Her cancer journey comes with a multitude of unexpected costs and trips to doctor's offices, both in Albany and in Atlanta. As a fundraiser for Cindy and her family, friends in the Lee County School System would like to host a 5k and  mile run on May 2nd, 2020. The morning activities would also consist of a silent auction with donations from local individuals and business owners. 

Fast and flat scenic loop course that winds thru the city of Leesburg.  This run/walk will take start at the Lee County Soccer and Track Facility across from the Ninth Grade Campus.  Free and ample parking  available at the facility and at Lee County High School Ninth Grade Campus.

Overall  male and female top three finisher will receive award. Age Group awards will be given to the top 3 participants in all categories ( 10 & under, 11-20, 21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & over ).  Short sleeve shirts - guaranteed to all runners registered before April 20, 2020.
