Description
This is the 3rd annual Cobb Police Athletic League (PAL) 5K. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite sports gear or as their favorite athlete. There will be a contest for “Best Dressed” at this family-friendly event.The race will be held at Green Meadows Preserve, 3780 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA on April 18, 2020. Race begins at 8 a.m. There will be music, games, contests, and much more. And the best part? The profits will benefit the Cobb Police Athletic League (PAL) Program.

AWARDS will be will be given to top overall M/F, top masters M/F, and 1st, 2nd & 3rd M/F in the following age groups 10 and under; 11-19; 20-29; 30-39, 40-49; 50-59; 60--69; 70+
RACE DAY TIME LINE
7:00 am - Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup begins
7:45 am - Depart for Start Line/Packet Pickup ends
8:00 am - 5K Run/Walk
ABOUT THE PAL PROGRAM
The PAL Program is a nationwide program designed to utilize sports as a basis for positive interaction between police officers and youth while also providing a foundation for good decision making and productive time management.
PAL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to prevent juvenile crime and violence by providing civic, athletic, recreational, and educational opportunities which create trust and build understanding between law enforcement and youth.
