The Walton Cinder Club is a non-profit voluntary organization that supports the Walton High School Cross Country and Track & Field Teams.  As we prepare for the 2025-26 Track Season, we will also be hosting the 46th Annual Raider Chase 5K on February 7, 2026. This race is a community-wide event and one of Cobb County’s longest-running traditions.  

Sponsorships and contributions directly impact both the quality of our programs and the number of student athletes we can serve (approximately 200 last year).   Monetary donations and goods contributed are completely tax-deductible and 100% of the proceeds are utilized to support our running programs and capital improvements to our athletic facilities.

The past success of our program has been largely due to the generous giving of sponsors like you. A banner will be prominently displayed in Raider Valley to recognize our most generous sponsors. Sponsors will benefit from the exposure to all our participants, as well as their parents, friends, and neighbors who join them to watch the Raider Chase 5K in February. Sponsors will also be recognized on the back of our race t-shirt and be heavily promoted to the entire Walton community through Facebook, Instagram, and announcements for the race.  Our athletes and parents have traditionally been very loyal in showing their appreciation by patronizing our sponsors’ businesses.
