Hello Everyone!
On June 13, 2017 in Eatonton, GA my dad Sgt. Christopher J. Monica was killed by two of the inmates they were transporting. The two inmates then escaped after killing both Sgt. Monica and Sgt. Billue and went on the run for 2 days after finally being caught in Tennessee. Our family has had to suffer the loss of such a big part our our lives; we also have had to go through the two trials to convict the inmates of these new crimes. With our healing and processing things we determined that we wanted to start a scholarship in my dads name as he is such a big advocate on education.
