Colquitt Regional Medical Foundation is accepting donations to benefit the Edwards Cancer Center in assisting oncology patients with transportation needs and those eligible for cold cap therapy, which helps reduce hair loss during chemotherapy.
Cold cap therapy is a customized therapeutic device used to cool the scalp before infusing specific types of chemotherapy to reduce the loss of a patient's hair. This device can cost a patient up to $2,500. Your donation could offer a qualifying patient the option of receiving scalp cooling, regardless of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
