Run for the Delta 5K - 2020 Virtual Run

DUE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION, THIS RACE WILL ONLY OCCUR AS A VIRTUAL 5K, DETAILS BELOW, YOU CAN CONTINUE TO SUPPORT OUR ORGANIZATION THROUGH OUR VIRTUAL 5K EVENT. WE HOPE TO RETURN OUR NORMAL EVENT IN NORCROSS IN 2021.

The "Run for the Delta 5K" is being held in the beautiful city of Norcross, Georgia. The race will benefit the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps. Spirit of Atlanta is a youth organization that travels and competes throughout the summer working towards the Drum corps International World Championships held in Indianapolis every August. The Spirit of Atlanta is made up of students from all over the Atlanta metro area as well as neighboring states. The members are 16-21 years old. They travel around 10,000 miles each summer rehearsing and perfecting their production. Thank you for considering this event to support this outstanding youth activity!  The Spirit delta is the trademark logo of Spirit of Atlanta and has been since their inception in 1977. 

Awards: 

All participants will receive a participation medal and a race t-shirt with the run for the delta logo, since this is a virtual run this year, we will not have placement awards. We will hope you will choose to to support Spirit through this event. In order to guarantee receipt of your medal and race shirt by the June 12 date, please be registered by June 1 so that your gifts may be mailed on time.
