H2 Strong 5k and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Everything about cancer stinks. It's especially tough when a child is diagnosed. Please join us for the inaugural H2 Strong 5k and 1-mile Fun Run/Walk.

$100 cash prize awarded to both top male and female finishers, and top masters male and female finishers. All 5k and 1-mile participants will receive a Dri-fit race shirt. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age group.

100% of all proceeds will go directly to Hailey Holder’s family to help with her ongoing care. On May 16, 2019 Hailey Holder (H2) Allen was diagnosed with cancer. Her fight began with a biopsy turned surgery, in which doctors removed a very large malignant tumor from her left thigh. Doctors have diagnosed her specific condition as stage IV Aveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a very rare form of cancer. Not only is her cancer rare, but it is very aggressive, and she is currently undergoing an aggressive chemo regimen. Over the coming year+ H2 will endure 56 weeks of inpatient chemo and radiation, as well as at least one more surgery on her right leg to access the tumors there. This will be a tough battle for her small body, but we know her size does not represent her tremendous strength!

The WR community has already shown the Allen family so much love! Let's continue to support them by dressing up as your favorite princess or superhero and coming out  and running or walking a 5k or 1-mile! Grab your kids and your grandmas, it'll be fun for the entire family!
