Celebrate the holiday with MPRRC by signing up for the Santa Hat and give back to the community by donating to The Salvation Army. All donations made during registration will go to Echelon Hawaii. Echelon Hawaii is a dynamic service organization founded in 2015. Its mission is to mobilize the next generation in support of The Salvation Army. Echelon Hawaii provides opportunities for young adults to engage with The Salvation Army through fellowship and networking, donations and fundraising, and service and volunteering. Echelon Hawaii focuses on equipping vulnerable communities in Hawaii, including historically underserved youth. Their flagship program, the Red Pencil Project, provides youth with tools they need to succeed. Besides providing school supplies, Echelon provides character development classes during the academic year, and supports the SAM (Salvation Army Meals) Backpack program. The SAM program feeds kids over the weekend, so they aren’t going hungry on days they don’t get free meals from the cafeteria at school. Echelon Hawaii is all about empowering the next generation to create positive change!
