Corey never received a dog. Corey is a 100% disabled veteran rated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair. After his multiple deployments, and years after he left the military, Corey and his family noticed a huge change in his demeanor. Corey was always on edge, hyper-vigilant, and could not be in large crowds. Corey suffers from PTSD (Post traumatic stress disorder) these are just a few things he deals with on a daily basis.
Freedom Paws provides Veterans and First Responders suffering from PTSD a service dog 100% free, unlike any other service dog foundation. Another thing that sets Freedom Paws apart is the
Veteran and First Responder attend weekly training with their dog as soon as they are matched.
