41% of North Idaho households are walking a financial tightrope.
They are working hard, but falling short of what they need to consistently cover the basic costs of living. Unable to save for the future, they are vulnerable to a single emergency that can push them into crisis and even poverty.

ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). ​Our friends and neighbors that are working, but earn too much to qualify for assistance and not enough to cover their family's living expenses. 

UWNI, provides resources for those in need, child care scholarships, early learning support and programs, financial responsibility training​, as well as funding and support for partner nonprofits that are helping keep ALICE out of poverty.

A one-time donation can be made here with your Spring Dash registration, or recurring donations can be set up through UWnorthidaho.org.
