Can you help us reach our goal of $45,000 for community wellness? All proceeds benefit A Just Harvest, a 501(c)3 serving the Chicago metropolitan area since 1988.
A Just Harvest fights hunger and poverty in the Rogers Park and greater Chicago area using three intentional strategies:
- Direct Service: feeding hungry folx 365 days a year. Our Community Kitchen offers daily hot meals (to-go during COVID-19) to an average of 150 patrons each afternoon, and groceries to an average of 90 households per week.
- Community Economic Development: creating jobs, education, and workforce development. Currently consists of our Urban Agriculture programs.
- Organizing and Advocacy: for long-term systemic change. A Just Harvest believes in getting at the root causes of hunger and poverty in the effort to "put ourselves out of business."
