In Chicago's Southland, DBC Gifts Of Love, NFP is a community outreach of DBC Offices and DBC Nation that gives back to those in need. DBC Gifts of Love, NFP, is a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 community organization, which helps entrepreneurs and community leaders give back to those in need with love and care. The organization has conducted food drives, winter accessories and toy drives for fire victims, and an annual book bag and school supply drive for homeless school children and other children in need. Items collected go directly to organizations or schools. The organization's offices are located in Richton Park, Illinois. Michiel D. Burnett is the president and founder. Michiel D. Burnett, an Olympia Fields resident, studied Nursing at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and is now a serial entrepreneur of several businesses. She and her family have experienced homelessness while being small business owners and she prayed to be able to give back. After she got back on her feet she began having various community drives through her business. She has a heart for others and a desire to eradicate homelessness, that will improve the quality of life for all. This year will be the DBC Gifts Of Love 6th Annual Book Bag & School Supply Drive. We are kicking off this year with a 5K Community Walk on Saturday, June 15, 2024, registration begins promptly at 8 am at the Vollmer Road Grove Forest Preserve in Country Club Hills, Illinois. The event will be held in person and virtually. The purpose of this communication is to inquire about possible sponsorship opportunities for DBC Gifts Of Love, NFP 5K Community Walk. Our goal is to donate 1000 book bags with school supplies to homeless school children in the Chicago Southland region. This 5K Community Walk will enhance our efforts and assist us in purchasing book bags, school supplies and gift cards for uniforms for homeless school-aged children and families in need. Your sponsorship will strengthen our efforts and commitment to serve the disenfranchised and our Chicago Southland community as a whole. The goals and achievements we reach are only obtainable through philanthropic partnerships like yours.
