The event commemorates the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks and also honors the brave, selfless men and women who protect us every day. Net proceeds from “Heroes for History” will be split between the Historical Society and Galena-based first responder agencies. Your donation is considered fully tax-deductible as we are an exempt organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and nothing of value has been given to you in return for this donation.
