Heel 2 Heal 5k Run/Walk hosted by Out of the Dark

Out of the Dark was formed to help survivors of abusive relationships heal, restore their lives, and become who they were created to be. They are a faith-based non-profit organization that serves victims of domestic violence and other abusive relationships by supporting the whole person; body, mind, and spirit. Survivors must break the cycle of domestic violence so that they, and their children, can live in peace and safety; and to prevent their children from following the path of violence in adulthood. Domestic violence has many forms besides physical abuse and there are many areas in which survivors need healing from trauma. Emotional, financial, spiritual, and post-separation abuse are all forms of domestic violence. Out of the Dark serves the ever-increasing number of survivors through trauma-informed programs.
