Description
Join us Saturday, June 22 at 8 a.m. for a fun 5k run/walk to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. Race will begin in the rear parking lot of the Korte Rec Center in Highland, Illinois. Afterward all participants can enjoy a free frozen custard courtesy of Bobby's Frozen Custard!
Preregistration is $25 or $30 on race day. Register by June 5th to be guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pick-up will be Thursday, June 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Bobby's Frozen Custard, 2525 N. Center St., Maryville, Illinois or on race day from 7-7:30 a.m.
We took all of the feedback we received last year and made some changes. This year the event will be TIMED by Toolen's Running Start! We will also award MEDALS! The first person across the finish line will still get the giant ice cream sundae in the chocolate brain bowl! It doesn't get better than that...just take a look at the smile on Hayden Ybarra's face!
Thank you to everyone who supported us last year, and we hope you will join us again this year! Together, we can raise awareness and funds for the care and support of those living with the disease while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.
