The event benefits the international causes of Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting changes in communities at home and abroad. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to : promote peace; fight disease, including Polio; provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; save mothers and children; support education; and grow local economies.
The race also supports the Rotary Club of Hinsdale Foundation, which offers local scholarships and financial support of the mission of these amazing community organizations who have a daily positive impact on the lives within those in the western suburbs of Chicago:
