Register for the first annual Faster than a Comet VIRTUAL 5K! Participants (adults and kids welcome!) can walk or run this race anytime during the month of October. Help us spread the word! Donations are welcome as well if you are not interested in completing the race.
Race shirts will be delivered to those who register. The cost of the race is $30 for adults and $15 for kids. As a bonus, raffle prizes will be drawn at random for those who register.
Those who run or walk locally in Lemont can go to the Heritage Quarries, outdoor track at Bambrick Park, outdoor track at the Core, and the indoor track at the Core - free to all residents! Or any of Lemont's neighborhoods.
Proceeds with benefit SS. Cyril & Methodius School in Lemont. Once you've completed your race, post a photo on Facebook in your race shirt with the hashtag #fasterthanacomet
