Royal Family Kids' Camps are welcoming, one-week resident camps designed to meet the unique and overwhelming needs of abused and neglected children. It is through intensely supportive interaction with trained adults where healing and hope begin. It is our goal to make a lasting difference in the young lives of these children, ages 7-ll, by giving them a week filled with fun, love, attention and care.
Royal Family Kids' Camps use a unique healing model. For many of these children, their week at RFKC is the first time ever in their lives to feel security, warmth and unconditional love from dedicated adult caregivers. For them, it can be life-changing. Camp coupled with year-long mentoring provides a healthy dose of hope.
Our purpose is to create positive memories for these children. They are given the Royal Treatment. This includes one caring counselor for each child and a surrogate "grandma and grandpa" to help each child feel like a part of a conventional family with grandma and grandpa who tell them stories and give them love and attention.

Royal Family Kid's Camp is designed specifically for children ages 7 - 11 in our community who have been victims of abuse and neglect. Summer camp is unavailable to most underprivileged children, especially those in the foster care system. Without the support of private individuals, local businesses, foundations, and other granting agencies in the area, a summer camp for these children would not exist.
