We cordially invite you to participate as a sponsor for the second annual Northwest Indiana Rugby Club’s Brickie Stadion 5K. We will be raising money to help support veterans and military families in collaboration with Operation Combat Bikesaver through this event.
Operation Combat Bikesaver is a local charity that believes that breathing new life into tarnished motorcycles by honing in on learned skill sets will relinquish the deafening grasp Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Disorder, and Depression has on Veterans. By creating distinctive works of art, those Veterans can give back to others suffering in a brotherhood of unity, targeting relief to the chaos of one's own mind. They're introduced to building, fabricating, welding and painting to resurrect something that was once damaged and forgotten into something new and truly unique while rebuilding themselves at the same time. Heroes that have completed the program have the opportunity to share what they have learned with others just starting the program. Sharing these newly obtained skills combined with a restored comradery that truly gives a sense of security and brotherhood are some of the most fulfilling things that truly heal the mind and soul. No one gets left behind.
In order to make this event a success, we are seeking out companies and organizations that have a vested interest in positively affecting our community members who have previously served our country.
