A HUGE thank you to all my fellow trail nuts who generously donated last year! Together, we raised enough to purchase two ZOLL AEDs—and ZOLL was kind enough to donate a third unit to WooHoo Trail Fun LLC!

To keep our events as safe as possible for the 2027 trail season, our goal is still to acquire two more units so every single aid station across all our events is fully equipped with a life-saving device. 

At WooHoo Trail Fun, we love pushing limits and celebrating every mile with true Hoosier hospitality. But when we’re deep in the heart of Indiana’s forests—miles from the nearest access road—safety is our top priority. 

As a lifetime cardiac nurse, I know firsthand how critical immediate intervention is. Sudden cardiac arrest is an unpredictable risk in any endurance sport. Survival rates drop by 7–10% for every minute without defibrillation, while having an AED on-site can boost survival chances from roughly 10% to over 70%. 

We need your help to reach our $3,000 goal to complete our race course coverage and maintain these units. 100% of all donations go directly to our AED fund.
