Description
On April 22, 2017 the Gregg Winters Memorial FOP Lodge 87 (Muncie, IN) will be hosting a 5K run/walk race. This event will take place along the beautiful White River Greenway, while starting and finishing at Westside Park in Muncie, IN. We welcome everyone of all ages to join us in this event!
This race is presented by Jack's Donuts, who of course will provide some very delicious donuts! The Vitamin Shoppe will also be providing goody bags for each participant! T-shirts will be provided to each participant, along with medals awarded to 1st place finishers in each age group.
Proceeds from this event will go to the Gregg Winters Memorial FOP Lodge 87. Proceeds will go to helping repair and maintain the local FOP facility, with a portion of the proceeds going towards the annual "Shop with a Cop" event that occurs every Christmas holiday season. This allows FOP Lodge 87 to provide gifts to approximately 100 children of families that need assistance during the holidays.
