Thank you for choosing to participate in our fundraiser 5k run/jog/walk event! Every dollar counts toward reaching Teter's budgetary goals for 2025. We hope you enjoy your time on the trails near the scenic White River today.
Special thanks to Discover White River for sponsoring our event! All proceeds from this event will fund Teter's mission of increasing access to healthy food for the vulnerable and providing ecological education while building community.
According to Indiana Grown (2015), approximately 90 percent of Indiana’s food is imported. And Feed America reports that roughly 32,000 Hamilton County residents are food insecure. Last year, Teter Organic Farm, a USDA certified organic farm, donated 40,0000 servings of produce and thousands of eggs to food insecure residents in Hamilton County.
If the food insecure numbers weren't bad enough, Indiana's rivers are rated as some of the most polluted in the nation. At Teter, we take the responsibility as stewards of our watershed to help make a positive difference. Our land management practices at Teter ensure that we have a healthy riparian habitat for animals and people alike to share.
